Windows 8 security issues exaggerated by BSI

BSI which published a Windows 8 security warning has just retracted the official warning which was exaggerated. However, BSI still stand by the conclusion that there are critical issues with the security in Windows 8.

The Windows 8 TPM security issues which was just published a few hours ago by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has now been retracted. BSI states that the security issues were somewhat exaggerated but still believes that critical issues still exist with Windows 8 that should not be ignored or overlooked.

Critical systems as always need to be aware of security issues no matter how small, and whatever the purpose of the warning from BSI was, it definitely aid to raise security awareness.
