iPhone 5S' predicted hardware information

Apple as always has made a good job in keeping the details of their unreleased iDevices secret. The iPhone 5S is expected to be released on September 10, 2013, in conjunction with the Apple Event, but some information regarding the internal hardware can apparently be predicted at this time.

The well known analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities, has revealed some predictions of the hardware in the iPhone 5S.

Kuo predicts that the iPhone 5S will have an A7 CPU under the hood. The A7 CPU is thought to be a completely new architecture based on the ARMv8 specifications (current iOS devices uses CPUs based on the ARMv7 specifications). The new generation CPU is therefore also expected to be about 20 percent more efficient. In addition, Kuo also expect the iPhone 5S to have 1 GB internal memory and that the rear side camera will be improved with a better objective and a more light-sensitive chip.

To be honest, so far the predicted specifications for the new flagship model is not all that exciting but hopefully Apple still has some tricks up its sleeve, mainly for its own sake.
